The Hot Gates

'Go tell the Spartans, stranger passing by,
that here obedient to their word we lie.'

This is the 3rd installment of my ongoing 'Musce & Bronze' project; modern fitness models reimagined in ancient times. This is my rendering of a Spartan Hippeis on approach to the pass of Thermoplyae 480 BC. I'm a huge history buff and I like accuracy and authenticity but, artistic license is obviously apparent here in my interpretation.
