Here is my official attempt at Wahammer 40k fanart. I'm predominantly an Age of Sigmar fan, so don't hit me with all the hardcore lore facts; this is just for fun and not for accuracy. Anyhow, I do very much like the Astra Militarum, reminds me of the Soviet military plus I like their mech walkers. This artwork features an Elysian drop trooper scouting out the desert landscape of a nameless planet for Orcs alongside a Cadian armored sentinel walker. I based the weapon design off of the XM29 OICW, which was never brought into official military service, yet even when designed in the early 90s still looks like a weapon that could be used in a sci-fi setting. The armor is loosely based on the lore but took inspiration from other sources such as the costal trooper from Rogue One. The Armored Sentinel is as close to lore as I could get it without taking too much artistic license.
